Audubon Nature Center’s Enchanted Forest

Join us for a magical fall evening on the trails.  Walk Audubon’s luminary lit trails and meet talking animals who tell you about their lives.  This is a wonderful non-scary Halloween event for children and their adults.  Our animals will engage your imagination, maybe make you laugh and teach you something about the wildlife in our region.  Stay for crafts and snacks as you explore the Nature Center after your walk.

We hope you can join us for our 9th annual Enchanted Forest. Here’s how it works:

  1. Make a reservation and pay for your tickets.  Click here to find out how.  Pre-registration IS required and preferred slots fill up quickly.  Only members can register before September 12th.  After that, registration is open to everyone.
  2. Show up about 10 minutes before your appointed time and make your way to the backyard to wait by the campfire until your turn.
  3. Walk with one of our “Fireflies” around a short, illuminated trail stopping at several stations to learn about animals of our region.  The walk takes about 45 minutes.  (You won’t need flashlights.)
  4. After your walk, come on inside and enjoy crafts and snacks.

History Note:  Enchanted Forest began at Audubon in 2006.
